Shibuyunji Town Council has commenced the grading and spot gravelling of some township and feeder roads in the district at a cost one million kwacha. The money is part of the Equalization Fund, the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and from the council’s own income generation streams.
The road works will be done in all the 12 wards, with the local authority to commence works with Nampundwe town- ship roads and extend the grading to other parts of the district, with works expected to be completed before the onset of the rain season.
